Daemon & Airdrie (Canadians Marley Daemon Iredale and Jesse Thom) describe their music as ‘ghost pop’ and it’s fair to say it certainly has a poignant and haunting quality. They say the lyrics explore ‘the yearning for full human freedom, emancipated from the perceptions and habits that hold us back from realizing our true depth of connection. It’s both a reminder of what is possible and a plea to the forces of nature to assist in a process of transformation-through-letting go’.

The video features the duo performing the song live at their lake house studio on Salt Spring Island, overlaid with shots of a solo canoe trip out on the open waters of Cusheon Lake, British Columbia.
